Malas Elisha and his family live in Tanzania. He came with two of his children on the first day of triage. The son he brought had a huge open palate and his 18-month old daughter had a bi-lateral cleft lip that needed repairing. Four out of his five children have clefts, as well as their mother. The two children had the life-changing operation, the other children will be first on the list the next time Alliance for Smiles is in Tanzania.
