It’s been 8 days since the team arrived in China. Today, the team had a day off to relax and do some sightseeing in Chuzhou. The Family Planning Association organized a trip for us to visit Mount Langya, a mountain located in the Anhui Province.

Mount Langya is a nationalforest park and is one of Anhui’s five biggest scenic attractions. We spent 3-hours strolling through the beautiful park. Afterwards, we had a delicious authentic Chinese lunch at a local restaurant.

Team members had the rest of the day to do whatever they wanted. Many of us went to visit the Chuzhou University where our volunteer translators are studying English. They showed us their gorgeous campus and their dorms. From there, many of us went downtown for some shopping therapy.
