Vocational Training Team

Doing the work on the ground is what AfS has always been good at. We have helped change the lives of thousands of people with cleft lips and palates with a direct, hands on approach. But an important part of our mission is vocational training. We want to pass our knowledge on to our local counterparts in order to empower them to continue to meet the needs of patients with cleft after we leave. We have been doing just that in Gazipur, Bangladesh this year, and we have been thrilled with the enthusiasm and willingness to learn from the doctors, nurses and staff.
