In 2010, Angelita was just 4 months old when she received a life-changing cleft palate surgery during Alliance for Smiles’ medical mission to Accra, Ghana. Fast forward 15 years, and she is now a bright, confident teenager with a powerful message.

Recently, Angelita reached out to encourage parents of children with cleft conditions to visit an AfS clinic—so their children, too, can receive the life-changing care they deserve. Her story is a testament to the lasting impact of our work and the incredible generosity of our medical volunteers and supporters.
