Our Alliance for Smiles team arrived in Bangladesh on Sunday and we hit the ground running during our triage at Shaheed Monsur Ali Medical
College & Hospital on Monday morning. We were welcomed by hospital staff, set up and screened 93 patients. It was a long day — we
finished up at about 7 pm after starting at around 8 am — but getting to meet the faces of the lives that are about to be changed made it all
worth it.

Today, we scheduled seven surgeries and added one more this morning. Four of those were under two years old! They’ll never remember the trials of growing up with a cleft.
