Today was the opening clinic. Team arrived early and was met by a courtyard filled with families waiting to be seen.

During the course of the day the team registered, examined and evaluated patients ranging in age from three months to 36 years. Some of them came from a village just 10 minutes away, and some made a journey of over 400km long. We even had a patient come from Mexico.

Every single one of them had a story worth telling, and we will try to tell as many as possible in the next few days. But they say a picture is worth a thousand words, so for now I will leave you with a gallery of cute faces, whose already beautiful smiles will be transformed starting tomorrow – first day of surgeries.
