Week Two!

Yesterday, we had a much appreciated day off. We went sightseeing at the Huanglianhe River Scenic Area where we hiked for 3 hours to see nature at its finest. We saw several waterfalls along the way and enjoyed an authentic Chinese lunch that was delicious.

Today is Mission Monday and it is filled with cuteness! The operating theater was very busy and we crossed the half-way point today with a grand total of 45 surgeries so far.

Discharges continued in earnest today as well including these two cuties. Xiao Liu was one of the few bilateral cleft lip cases on this mission and Xiao Wang was such a sweet little boy to have around the ward!
