Today our amazing team completed 8 surgeries. 1 rhinoplasty, 6 palates, and 1 lip + palate.

Today we are featuring 8-month-old Thaw Zin Tun. Thaw is from Mandalay. Mandalay is the second-largest city in Myanmar, after Yangon. It’s located on the east bank of the Irrawaddy River, 716 km (445 mi) north of Yangon. The city has a population of 1,225,553 (2014 census). Thaw Zin Tun traveled with her mother, Min Thant via bus for the 10-hour trip to Victoria Hospital. Thaw Zin and her mother were greeted and screened by the Alliance for Smiles team on Monday and discharged from Victoria Hospital on Friday.
