The family of Sai Thura heard about the Alliance for Smiles’ mission trip to Sagaing from a friend that had just returned home after having surgery on their child. They took a bus 3 ½ hours in hopes of being seen and having their son’s lip repaired.
They arrived three days before the end of the mission but as luck has it space opened up for Sai Thura on the last day of surgeries.
Unfortunately, the day of his surgery he became ill but is now scheduled for the Yangon mission in October 2018. His life will change very soon!
